Electricity New Connection
Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority introduced an online system for new electricity connections, where fesco or other distributed company consumer can put in their application and follow the below steps to complete the application successfully. Before the introduction of the online system, the new meter installation process was difficult.
Now, it’s become very just go to ENC (Electricity New Connection System). You do not need to go to any office for a new connection; open ENC Portal and apply for a new connection. Which Documents are Required for a New Connection?
All documents are uploaded on the ENC portal. At the time of uploading of document for the new connection, the size of the scan copy must be 300kb. Otherwise, documents can’t upload. The list of the document is given below:
After successfully applying, a tracking ID will generate, print the submitted application using the ID from the ENC website, attach all documents along with the printed application and submit to the concerned office.
How to Get FESCO Online Demand Notice?
When you complete all formalities and submit the application for a new meter, the fesco staff will verify your new connection request, and the fesco will issue a demand notice. You can download the fesco online demand notice through the tracking id from the Electricity new connection website. FESCO’s new connection demand notice fee will be mentioned when you print it on the demand notice form.
The demand notice fee depends on the type of connection and which type of material will use during connection installation. Normally fesco charges 9,000 for installation costs + 800 for the guarantee for a 3KW connection. All details will show on ENC Portal when you print the demand notice by tracking id. You can calculate the estimated cost in advance through the fesco cost estimator.
Updated Charges for New Connection
Submit the demand notice fee within the due date; otherwise, it will expire. Most probably, fesco gives 7 to 11 days to submit a demand notice fee from the issue date. Payment of demand notice is relatively easy. You can pay it at the Bank of Punjab and other commercial banks in Pakistan. You can also pay the demand notice fee through the online payment method. Finally, after submitting the demand notice fee, you can submit the paid receipt to the concerned fesco office.
The Time Frame Given by FESCO for the New Connection
Electric distribution companies are working under NEPRA. It made a policy for ease of business and ordered the electric supply companies to complete their tasks within the given time frame. In case of delay in the completion of the process, the distribution company will be responsible for explaining reasons in written form why the task has not been completed in the given time frame. The authority has the right to accept or reject such reasons.
1st Category Connection
